{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-80665","description":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: nv: Inject SEA if kvm_translate_vncr() can-t resolve PFN kvm_handle_vncr_abort() assumes that s1_walk_result conveys an abort when kvm_translate_vncr() returns -EFAULT. This is not always the case as it-s possible to encounter -late- failures on the output of S1 translation, e.g. a GFN outside of the memslots. Fix it by preparing an external abort before returning from kvm_translate_vncr(). Get rid of the BUG_ON() in the fault injection path while at it.","publishedAt":"2026-08-28T08:16:51","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-28T08:16:51","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-80665","cvssScore":null,"cvssVector":"Pending","epssProbability":0.00178,"riskScore":0,"affectedProduct":"Linux kernel","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Kernel","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-80665","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-80665","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-80665","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-80665","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-80665","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-80665","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-80665","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-80665"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-80665"}}
