{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-80577","description":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: skip zero-sized firmware sections panthor_fw_load_section_entry() skips BO creation when the firmware section VA range is empty. If such a section is added to the firmware section list, section->mem is left as NULL. Later reload and unplug paths iterate over all firmware sections and dereference section->mem, which can lead to a NULL pointer dereference. Zero-sized firmware sections are valid, so accept them as no-op entries but skip adding them to the section list.","publishedAt":"2026-08-26T15:17:13","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-26T15:17:13","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-80577","cvssScore":null,"cvssVector":"Pending","epssProbability":0.00156,"riskScore":0,"affectedProduct":"Linux kernel","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Kernel","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-80577","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-80577","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-80577","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-80577","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-80577","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-80577","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-80577","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-80577"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-80577"}}
