{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-80538","description":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: propagate errors from xfs_rtginode_load xfs_rtginode_ensure() treats every xfs_rtginode_load() error other than -ENOENT as success. This can leave the realtime group inode unset after an I/O, allocation, or corruption error. Growfs then continues as though the inode had been loaded. Only -ENOENT means that the inode needs to be created. Return all other errors to the growfs caller.","publishedAt":"2026-08-26T15:17:08","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-27T06:17:34","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-80538","cvssScore":7.1,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H","epssProbability":0.00124,"riskScore":0.72,"affectedProduct":"Linux kernel","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Kernel","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-80538","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-80538","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-80538","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-80538","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-80538","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-80538","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-80538","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-80538"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-80538"}}
