{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-76324","description":"In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who holds the -power- Splunk role could create a malicious Splunk Web tour and cause arbitrary JavaScript to run in the browser of another user when that user opens a crafted tour link. The JavaScript runs in the browser of the affected user, allowing for access to all relevant data available to that user. The Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability is possible because Splunk Web renders tour content and tour navigation links without sufficient output encoding and accepts a tour selector value that can be treated as markup. The vulnerability requires another user to open a crafted tour link. The user who holds the -power- Splunk role should not be able to trigger JavaScript execution in another user-s browser without that user interaction.","publishedAt":"2026-08-19T22:17:16","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-26T16:16:39","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-76324","cvssScore":5.7,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","epssProbability":0.00216,"riskScore":0.58,"affectedProduct":"Splunk Enterprise","affectedVersions":"<10.4.2, <10.2.6, <10.0.9, <9.4.14","vulnerabilityType":"Web app","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-76324","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-76324","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-76324","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-76324","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-76324","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-76324","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-76324","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-76324"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-76324"}}
