{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-74646","description":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: misc: fastrpc: take fl->lock when moving mmaps on interrupted invoke When an invoke is interrupted by a signal, wait_for_completion_interruptible() returns -ERESTARTSYS and fastrpc_internal_invoke() moves every buffer from fl->mmaps onto cctx->invoke_interrupted_mmaps. This list_del()/list_add_tail() walk runs without holding fl->lock, the lock that serialises fl->mmaps in fastrpc_req_mmap() and fastrpc_req_munmap() everywhere else. Take fl->lock around the move, matching every other fl->mmaps accessor.","publishedAt":"2026-08-22T16:16:37","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-25T06:18:44","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-74646","cvssScore":7.8,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","epssProbability":0.00129,"riskScore":0.79,"affectedProduct":"linux","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Kernel","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-74646","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-74646","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-74646","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-74646","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-74646","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-74646","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-74646","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-74646"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-74646"}}
