{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-74413","description":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtw89: fix wrong pci_get_drvdata type in AER handlers rtw89 stores an ieee80211_hw pointer via pci_set_drvdata() at probe time, but io_error_detected() and io_resume() retrieve it as a net_device pointer. This causes netif_device_detach/attach to operate on an ieee80211_hw struct, reading and writing at wrong offsets. The adjacent io_slot_reset() already does it correctly. Use ieee80211_stop_queues/wake_queues instead, consistent with every other queue stop/start path in the driver. Tested on RTL8852CE by calling the handlers from a test module before and after the fix.","publishedAt":"2026-08-15T06:22:43","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-17T06:19:36","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-74413","cvssScore":8.8,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","epssProbability":0.0024,"riskScore":0.9,"affectedProduct":"Linux kernel","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Kernel","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-74413","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-74413","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-74413","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-74413","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-74413","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-74413","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-74413","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-74413"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-74413"}}
