{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-73108","description":"RustDesk versions before 1.4.7 contain an uncontrolled speculative memory allocation vulnerability in BytesCodec. Before authentication, the decoder trusts the payload length encoded in a four-byte frame header and reserves that amount before receiving the payload. A crafted header can request up to 1,073,741,823 bytes of capacity, allowing unauthenticated attackers to use concurrent TCP connections to cause memory exhaustion and denial of service. The fix caps header-triggered speculative preallocation at 256 KiB.","publishedAt":"2026-08-26T14:17:12","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-26T14:17:12","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-73108","cvssScore":7.5,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","epssProbability":0.00528,"riskScore":0.79,"affectedProduct":"RustDesk","affectedVersions":"<1.4.7","vulnerabilityType":"Other","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-73108","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-73108","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-73108","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-73108","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-73108","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-73108","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-73108","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-73108"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-73108"}}
