{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-72457","description":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: fail policy unpack on accept2 allocation failure unpack_pdb() may need to allocate a missing ACCEPT2 table for older policy data. If that allocation failed, it set an error message but jumped to the success path, returning a policydb with the required table missing. Return -ENOMEM through the normal failure path when the ACCEPT2 allocation fails. Remove the now-unused out label.","publishedAt":"2026-08-15T06:22:19","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-17T06:19:13","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-72457","cvssScore":null,"cvssVector":"Pending","epssProbability":0.00207,"riskScore":0,"affectedProduct":"Linux kernel","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Kernel","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-72457","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-72457","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-72457","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-72457","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-72457","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-72457","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-72457","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-72457"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-72457"}}
