{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-72414","description":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: sja1105: round up PTP perout pin duration pin_duration is converted from the user-provided period to SJA1105 clock ticks and is later passed as the cycle_time argument to future_base_time(). Very small period values may become zero after the conversion, which can lead to a division by zero in future_base_time(). Round zero pin_duration up to 1 tick so that the smallest unsupported periods use the minimum non-zero hardware duration instead of passing zero to future_base_time().","publishedAt":"2026-08-15T06:22:15","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-17T06:19:08","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-72414","cvssScore":null,"cvssVector":"Pending","epssProbability":0.0022,"riskScore":0,"affectedProduct":"Linux kernel","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Kernel","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-72414","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-72414","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-72414","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-72414","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-72414","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-72414","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-72414","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-72414"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-72414"}}
