{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-72148","description":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: dw-edma: Add spinlock to protect DONE_INT_MASK and ABORT_INT_MASK The DONE_INT_MASK and ABORT_INT_MASK registers are shared by all DMA channels, and modifying them requires a read-modify-write sequence. Because this operation is not atomic, concurrent calls to dw_edma_v0_core_start() can introduce race conditions if two channels update these registers simultaneously. Add a spinlock to serialize access to these registers and prevent race conditions. [den: update dw_edma.lock comment]","publishedAt":"2026-08-15T06:21:32","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-23T13:16:40","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-72148","cvssScore":8.8,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:H","epssProbability":0.00329,"riskScore":0.91,"affectedProduct":"Linux kernel","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Kernel","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-72148","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-72148","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-72148","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-72148","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-72148","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-72148","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-72148","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-72148"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-72148"}}
