{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-66787","description":"A flaw was found in the lighthouse component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of advertised IP addresses within EndpointSlice objects. A compromised spoke cluster can exploit this by creating EndpointSlices with attacker-controlled IP addresses, causing other clusters- lighthouse DNS to redirect legitimate service traffic to malicious endpoints. This enables a remote attacker to conduct transparent Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on cross-cluster service communications, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure and data manipulation.","publishedAt":"2026-08-20T19:16:58","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-20T19:16:58","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-66787","cvssScore":8.7,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N","epssProbability":0.00172,"riskScore":0.88,"affectedProduct":"Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Other","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-66787","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-66787","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-66787","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-66787","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-66787","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-66787","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-66787","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-66787"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-66787"}}
