{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-66003","description":"Frappe is a full-stack web application framework written in Python and JavaScript. Prior to version 15.115.0, an access control bypass in the REST API allows a user to read data from Linked DocTypes that they are not authorized to access. When a document references another document through a Link field, the framework does not consistently enforce the linked DocType-s own permissions when the record is retrieved through the REST API, so a low-privileged authenticated user can obtain fields from linked records outside their permitted scope. This issue is fixed in version 15.115.0.","publishedAt":"2026-08-26T20:17:56","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-27T17:19:32","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-66003","cvssScore":7.1,"cvssVector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:X/CR:X/IR:X/AR:X/MAV:X/MAC:X/MAT:X/MPR:X/MUI:X/MVC:X/MVI:X/MVA:X/MSC:X/MSI:X/MSA:X/S:X/AU:X/R:X/V:X/RE:X/U:X","epssProbability":0.00308,"riskScore":0.73,"affectedProduct":"Frappe","affectedVersions":"<15.115.0","vulnerabilityType":"Web app","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-66003","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-66003","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-66003","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-66003","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-66003","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-66003","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-66003","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-66003"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-66003"}}
