{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-63670","description":"ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 2.17.6, sanitizeHtml() can pass disallowed executable markup through packages/sanitize-html/index.js when textarea or xmp is included in allowedTags because a literal solidus after the raw-text end-tag name is treated as text by htmlparser2 and the ontext handler emits that content without escaping, while a browser parses the following img onerror markup as active HTML. This issue is fixed in version 2.17.6.","publishedAt":"2026-08-17T20:16:45","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-18T18:19:12","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-63670","cvssScore":6.1,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","epssProbability":0.00236,"riskScore":0.62,"affectedProduct":"ApostropheCMS","affectedVersions":"<2.17.6","vulnerabilityType":"Web app","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-63670","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-63670","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-63670","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-63670","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-63670","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-63670","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-63670","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-63670"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-63670"}}
