{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-63587","description":"The SMS control function of IE-SR-2TX-WL-4G devices can require a password for SMS commands via the -Enable Password Authorization- setting. The device increments a retry counter on each failed SMS password attempt; after 5 consecutive failed attempts, SMS password authorization is automatically disabled. An unauthenticated remote attacker who is able to send SMS messages to the device can deliberately trigger this by submitting 5 or more invalid passwords, after which subsequent SMS commands are executed without requiring a password, resulting in potential limited configuration tampering, limited information leakage and potentially full loss of availability.","publishedAt":"2026-08-25T09:17:32","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-27T17:19:23","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-63587","cvssScore":8.6,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:H","epssProbability":0.00269,"riskScore":0.88,"affectedProduct":"IE-SR-2TX-WL-4G","affectedVersions":"unknown","vulnerabilityType":"Firmware","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-63587","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-63587","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-63587","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-63587","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-63587","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-63587","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-63587","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-63587"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-63587"}}
