{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-61792","description":"Weblate is a web-based continuous localization platform used to manage software translations. In versions prior to 2026.7, a project administrator can read files outside their repository through the App store metadata download feature, which resolves attacker-influenced paths without adequately confining them to the repository. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-34242, whose original patch failed to fully prevent the path traversal, allowing the arbitrary file read to persist. A user with project-administrator privileges can therefore disclose the contents of files on the Weblate host that lie outside the project-s repository. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.","publishedAt":"2026-08-26T21:16:39","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-26T21:16:39","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-61792","cvssScore":7.7,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","epssProbability":0.00316,"riskScore":0.79,"affectedProduct":"Weblate","affectedVersions":"<2026.7","vulnerabilityType":"Web app","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-61792","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-61792","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-61792","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-61792","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-61792","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-61792","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-61792","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-61792"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-61792"}}
