{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-55227","description":"Weblate is a web-based localization tool. In versions prior to 2026.7, several endpoints look up objects in a globally scoped manner rather than restricting the lookup to projects the user can access, so they return HTTP 403 (Forbidden) instead of 404 (Not Found) when a user requests an object they are not authorized to see. This difference lets unauthorized users infer whether a given object exists in a private Weblate project. The issue has been fixed in version 2026.7.","publishedAt":"2026-08-26T21:16:38","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-27T17:18:48","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-55227","cvssScore":4.3,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","epssProbability":0.00183,"riskScore":0.44,"affectedProduct":"Weblate","affectedVersions":"<2026.7","vulnerabilityType":"Web app","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-55227","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-55227","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-55227","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-55227","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-55227","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-55227","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-55227","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-55227"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-55227"}}
