{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-54492","description":"Koel is a free, open-source music streaming solution. Prior to 9.7.0, the Subsonic-compatible createPodcastChannel.view route accepts an authenticated user-s private URL because app/Http/Requests/Subsonic/CreatePodcastChannelRequest.php does not apply the SafeUrl validation used by the regular podcast API. app/Http/Controllers/Subsonic/CreatePodcastChannelController.php passes the URL to app/Services/Podcast/PodcastService.php, where PodcastService::addPodcast() and createParser() invoke Poddle::fromUrl() during channel creation, causing immediate server-side requests to loopback, Docker bridge, or RFC1918 HTTP destinations. The confirmed impact is blind internal request execution because generic response-body exfiltration was not demonstrated through this route. This issue is fixed in version 9.7.0.","publishedAt":"2026-08-19T21:16:57","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-20T14:17:14","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-54492","cvssScore":4.3,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","epssProbability":0.00265,"riskScore":0.44,"affectedProduct":"Koel","affectedVersions":"<9.7.0","vulnerabilityType":"Web app","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-54492","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-54492","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-54492","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-54492","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-54492","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-54492","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-54492","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-54492"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-54492"}}
