{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-49244","description":"SFTPGo is an open source, event-driven file transfer solution. From 2.2.0 until 2.7.3, the public web-client partial ZIP download endpoint for a browsable share validates client-supplied files entries with a raw byte-prefix comparison rather than a directory-boundary-aware check. An unauthenticated requester who can reach a public share can select a canonical path outside the shared directory when the target path begins with the shared directory-s name, such as a sibling path that shares the same prefix. The endpoint then includes the out-of-scope file in the generated download, disclosing its contents. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.3.","publishedAt":"2026-08-20T22:17:19","lastModifiedAt":"2026-08-21T22:16:38","sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-49244","cvssScore":5.9,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","epssProbability":0.0037,"riskScore":0.61,"affectedProduct":"SFTPGo","affectedVersions":">=2.2.0,<2.7.3","vulnerabilityType":"Web app","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-49244","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-49244","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-49244","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-49244","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-49244","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-49244","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-49244","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-49244"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-49244"}}
