{"apiVersion":"1.0","identifier":"CVE-2026-41166","description":"OpenRemote is an open-source internet-of-things platform. Prior to version 1.22.1, a user who has `write:admin` in one Keycloak realm can call the Manager API to update Keycloak realm roles for users in another realm, including `master`. The handler uses the `{realm}` path segment when talking to the identity provider but does not check that the caller may administer that realm. This could result in a privilege escalation to `master` realm administrator if the attacker controls any user in `master` realm. Version 1.22.1 fixes the issue.","publishedAt":"2026-04-22T21:17:09","lastModifiedAt":null,"sourceUrl":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-41166","cvssScore":7,"cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:L","epssProbability":0.00285,"riskScore":0.72,"affectedProduct":"OpenRemote","affectedVersions":"<1.22.1","vulnerabilityType":"Core software","operatingSystems":[],"links":{"self":"https://www.redsauce.net/api/cves/CVE-2026-41166","webPages":{"es":"https://www.redsauce.net/es/cves/CVE-2026-41166","en":"https://www.redsauce.net/en/cves/CVE-2026-41166","fr":"https://www.redsauce.net/fr/cves/CVE-2026-41166","pt":"https://www.redsauce.net/pt/cves/CVE-2026-41166","de":"https://www.redsauce.net/de/cves/CVE-2026-41166","sk":"https://www.redsauce.net/sk/cves/CVE-2026-41166","el":"https://www.redsauce.net/el/cves/CVE-2026-41166"},"source":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-41166"}}
